Biography
Dr. Kitchin grew up in Charlottesville, Virginia and graduated from Williams College with BA in biology. He obtained his MD degree from The University of Virginia Medical School. After an internship in Obstetrics and Gynecology, he completed an internal medicine residency at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore followed by Gastroenterology Fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. Dr. Kitchin has been practicing in Winchester since 1990. He has served on numerous committees at Winchester Medical Center and was president of the medical staff in 2006. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and is a member of the ACG, AGA, and ASGE.
